WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2001, Wound Healing Solutions was created to respond to the need for quality wound management services for the elderly.

After witnessing her grandmother succumb to complications from a pressure ulcer, Wendy Smollock teamed with Paul Montenegro to redefine the standard of wound management servicing this vulnerable population. After many months of planning and education, Wound Healing Solutions became a reality.

Working out of each of their homes, Paul and Wendy built the practice to what it is today. Founded upon the strong ethical principles to do no harm and to treat the patient as if they were their own family member, our team has grown to include 11 nurse practitioners, 2 physicians, clinical support and 3 office staff.

Through word of mouth our contracts have grown to include nursing homes and assisted living residences spanning from Bergen to Cape May counties. We have been successful in assisting our family of clients to achieve or maintain a deficiency-free status for wound related care ( F314 & F309 tags ) even through regulatory and facility changes.
